Five Ways to Reach Your Dream

Everyone has dreams. The tricky part is turning those dreams into reality.
Here are five tips to help you reach YOUR dreams!

1. Name them.
Sounds silly? Maybe. But if you don't know what your dreams are, how will you ever know when you've reached them? So write them down. Say them over and over to yourself. Do they sound far-fetched? That's okay—if they were easily reached, they wouldn't be dreams.

2. Share them.
Everyone needs help making their dreams come true. And the more people who know what your dreams are, the more help you'll have—especially if you share them with the people who love you.

3. Take a class.
Sure, you may have a natural talent for drawing, painting, or photography, but that's often not enough. And if your dreams include being a pilot, an inventor, a doctor, or the head of a company, education is REALLY important—after all, no one was ever born knowing how to fly a plane!

4. Work on them.
Want to be a pro athlete? A singer? An actress? Then practice your skills every day. It need not be a full-out game or performance, but you've got to keep your skills sharp. Otherwise, when you need them, they may not be there.

5. Have fun with them.
Remember: these are YOUR dreams, and you can change them at any time. They're supposed to be things that you want to do—things that make you happy. Not having fun anymore? Feel like you're missing your friends? Would you rather be doing something else? Then start thinking up new dreams!
