Dr. M's Answer

Dear Shelly,
Almost everyone has days when they skip breakfast or stay up later than they should. But if you get into the habit of eating breakfast before school, playing sports and active games, and getting to sleep early enough to feel well-rested in the morning most days, you'll feel less tired, have more energy, and be able to concentrate more fully on your schoolwork. The result? Probably better grades.

Liz's Answer
Dear Shelly,
Healthy habits are very important for school. Getting enough sleep is necessary so you are energized to do work and you're not always tired. Exercising makes you feel good and helps you focus. Eating a good breakfast gives you "fuel" for the day. There are a lot of ways to say healthy, and mostly all of them help in school.
