Dear Dr. M and Molly,
I waste so much time when I study, I end up finishing late and I want to do other stuff but I waste so much time daydreaming that I can't do the stuff I want to do. How can I stop daydreaming while I study?

Dear Christina,
When you start your homework every night, try to be in the best environment possible for studying. Go to a quiet area with no distractions. You need to motivate yourself to stay focused, or else you could be there for hours. Spending too much time working can be bad because you will start to lack sleep. Just think, once you get your homework done you will be able to relax and do whatever you want. So the sooner you get your work done, the better. As you get older, you will receive more and more work, and you will have to learn to manage your time. It is good to practice now. |
