Dear Dr. M and Molly,
I am not a tomboy, but a lot of my friends are. Is there any way to fit in better, or just be who I am now?

Dr. M's Answer

Dear Kelly,
It's fun to have friends with different interests. That way, you get to find out about lots of different things. You can stay true to yourself but still explore some of the activities your friends are doing. You never know—you might discover something new that you'll really enjoy.

Liz's Answer
Dear Kelly,
The best thing to do is just be yourself. People will like you for being who you are, and it is good to be independent. Also, it is nice to have friends who aren't exactly like you, so you can learn from each other.
