Dear Dr. M,
I have three best friends and they all want to know who my best best friend is. What do I do?

Dr. M's Answer

Dear Bree,
Don't you wish they just would't ask? Even if you have one friend who is truly your very best friend, you probably don't want to hurt the other two. Tell them how great it is that you're all best friends—if one of you is not available to go somewhere or do something, each of you has two other best friends to spend time with.

Liz's Answer
Dear Bree,
I also have three best friends, and although sometimes I'm closer to one than the others (and who that one person is switches), I could never decide which one is my best best friend. My suggestion is to tell all three that you don't have just one best friend, but you still consider each one of them your best friend.
