Dear Dr. M and Liz,
My baby sister was born one month ago and I kind of feel left out sometimes. Help me. What should I do?

Dr. M's Answer

Dear Chaney,
A very young baby, like your sister, takes up a lot of time. As she gets older, she won't need quite so much attention. Remember that your parents still love you just as much as they did before your sister was born. You can offer to take care of your sister once in a while, which your parents are sure to appreciate. Spending more time with your sister will give you a chance to get to know her, and she will definitely love getting to know you!

Molly's Answer
Dear Chaney,
Newborn babies require lots of attention. It can be hard when your parents are with the baby a lot, but they haven't forgotten about you. Tell your parents how you are feeling, and I'm sure they will spend more time with you. Try to help them out with the baby because it is tiring. Pretty soon the baby will be older and not need as much attention.
