Dear Dr. M,
Lately, my 11-year-old brother has been acting weird. Should I find out what's going on or should I ignore him?

Dr. M's Answer

Dear Diamond,
As a caring sister, try to find out what's going on with your brother. It could just be his age, but he might be dealing with a problem that he needs help with. If your brother doesn't want to talk to you, let a parent know what you've noticed. They'll appreciate your concern and will take whatever action is needed.

Liz's Answer
Dear Diamond,
You should ask your brother what's going on and whether there's anything you can do to help. Chances are he'll say that nothing's wrong, or it's none of your business. But at least you've shown that you care.
